Bringing the Community Online: The New StartupGrind.com

Five years ago Startup Grind began one evening with nine people as a simple way to pull friends together to help and learn from each other. Three years ago with 5-chapters I started devoting full-time effort to growing it and expanding it around the world.

Today we have active Chapters in 175 cities in more than 75 countries around the world. 75,000 entrepreneurs will attend Startup Grind this year alone. With 1,300 hours of free startup education, entrepreneurs have watched over 6 million minutes of this content. In just three years we have gone from 5 monthly events, to more than 100 with Chapters in places like Tehran, Mongolia, Cape Town, London, NYC, Tanzania, Lima, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, New Delhi, and our newest Chapter based in Gaza. Startup Grind is now one of the largest startup communities in the world.

Our community values of giving first, helping others, and making friends have struck a massive cord with entrepreneurs around the world. Now it is time for us to step up to the next level. Today we begin our next big step forward as we relaunch StartupGrind.com as an online platform for our global community. Starting today community members will be able to:

1. Communicate and engage with other entrepreneurs.
2. Daily education from other great entrepreneurs.
3. Engage in global topics and discussions.

All of this is in addition to what we're already doing with over a thousand events this year and dozens of hours of video/audio content each month. While membership signups are publicly closed for now, existing members have a limited number of invites. Now is a better time than ever to get involved by starting a Chapter, sponsoring an event, suggesting a speaker, or becoming a writer.

This is the beginning of a new wave that I hope will push you as an entrepreneur and your startup to a new level.
