Lansing’s Startup Scene Rocked Last Night!

We packed the East Lansing Technology Innovation Center with Grinders learning and connecting.

We are doing it again February 19th. Join us to keep building those relationships and strengthening the Lansing entrepreneurial ecosystem. Startup Grind is about connecting people and last night we delivered. Attendees were ferociously networking last night. David had a hard time breaking everyone up to start the interview.

Keep growing friends from last night as we continue to strengthen the Lansing Startup ecosystem.

We are excited to host Camron Gnass from Traction next month. Traction helps companies with brand positioning. Camron teaches Advertising at MSU, helps with the Capital City Film Festival, TEDxLansing, and Ignite Lansing. In addition he has started a publishing company and invests in real estate. He is a good at what he does, is grinding here in Lansing, and likes to give back to Lansing. He is a perfect fit to help entrepreneurs learn how to build companies, learn how to position their brand, and how to support the ecosystem.

Brand Positioning is Important

As our Director David is finding out, branding is critical to success. It is like rocket fuel, multiplying the impact of the work we buy with our most precious recourses: time and money. Many entrepreneurs are good at something, like building web apps. However many struggle when it comes to trumpeting and leveraging those successes to ease the effort required to grow their customer base.

Camron will share his experiences building Traction into a first class branding agency. They do great work. Director David was at the Addy’s a few years ago and Traction won award after award after award after award. If you thought that sentence went on too long, imagine how the other attendees felt as Traction collected award after award.
