The Google for Entrepreneurs powered event the Startup Grind launched successfully with an amazing inaugural event last month. The talented Michelle Rowley, PIE Graduate & Mentor as well as Founder & Executive Director at Code Scouts and Cultivate & Co. came out to speak at the gorgeous Tillamook Station, an art gallery and workspace. Our second month of Startup Grind Portland is coming up next Monday the 30th from 6 to 9 pm at the recently funded Puppet Labs with Dave Allen, former Director at Creative Agency North & Currently Director, Artist & Music Industry Advocate at Beats Music an arm of the recently purchased Beats by Dre brand. These events are powered by Google for Entrepreneurs but are funded by each director around the country until local sponsorship can be obtained with the ultimate goal of creating an outlet for succesful entrepreneurs, innovators, and educators to come and share their story with up-and-coming young entrepreneurs here in the Portland community. We are currently looking for companies interested in being event sponsors, venue sponsors, food sponsors, and alcohol sponsors, because what fun is an event without a little liquid courage.
