He is a certified marketer and holds a Chartered Post Graduate Diploma in marketing management(CIM), a bachelor's degree in business administration from University of Malawi, an alumni of The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program but also an advisory mentor in The Queen's Young Leaders program.
He is a proud and patriotic Malawian with a passion to build a vibrant ecosystem of entrepreneurs in Malawi. He runs an online advisory platform: Expertrus Online.
Betty is Africa Regional Director for Startup Grind and runs the Nairobi chapter. Startup Grind is the largest independent startup community, actively educating, inspiring, and connecting founders in 200 cities. She worked at Fezah as Business Operations Lead in Nairobi. Fezah is a Ugandan startup that provides the simplest way to book a musician, band or DJ for your events. Previously, Betty co-founded Valuraha, a technology startup aimed at spreading financial literacy.
