Startup Grind San Diego is back this Wednesday when we welcome social scientist, author, and professor of UCSD - James Fowler. James will be speaking about his book Connected, and how his research relates to startups and the networks within them. If you aren't familiar with his work, you'll want to catch the chat or pick up his book. The research that surrounds Connected is truly fascinating and really gets to the core of how our networks work.
Did you know that strangers can affect anything from your happiness, success, or even weight fluctuation? Or that being surrounded by happy people increases your likelihood of being happy more so than money? The science is there, and we'll dig a little deeper to understand how our real life social networks are affecting everything we, feel, think, and do.
