Every year Startup Grind hosts SG Women’s Month, proudly recognising the accomplishments of female leaders around the world. Throughout the month of July, we’re hosting local and global events with the goal of bringing together female entrepreneurs and investors who are leading, shaping, and funding the future – female first.

The annual SG Women's Summit in London is back on July 6th, 2023 at 6 PM BST at the in the Elektra Ventures in the heart of East London. We've lined up 2 hours of invaluable advice and lessons learned from top female VCs, founders, and educators as well as networking with fellow female founders from your community. 

Michelle You is co-founder and CEO of vetted carbon removal marketplace, Supercritical. At the forefront of the UK’s climate tech ecosystem, Michelle is a former venture partner at LocalGlobe, where she focused on climate investments, and is a member of the TechZero task force. She’s also a repeat entrepreneur with a proven track record. As co-founder of Songkick, she grew the company to over 20m monthly unique users and raised capital from Y Combinator, Index Ventures and Sequoia before exiting to Warner Music Group in 2017.

The fireside chat will be moderated by Claudia Stankler, COO of Connectd. A St Andrews graduate Claudia is a successful founder, early stage investor and skilled operations expert having run the operations for three London-based tech businesses. This year Claudia joined a host of incredible young leaders and was featured in Forbes Europe list of 30 under 30 2023.
