We’ve all heard of the hype around Bitcoin and blockchain technology – but how does it work? How will it change our future?

Startup Grind Adelaide hosts Rusty Russell, Blockstream software developer and formerly Head Deputy at Linux for over 20 years.

Rusty will be sharing his knowledge on Bitcoin, blockchain and how this technology is going to change our future. He'll also talk about his journey to developing the technology behind Blockstream and Linux.

Rusty has played an influential part of Bitcoin’s development after developing majority of the specification for the Lightning Network. He is also recognised for his work in the Linux kernel networking subsystem, and the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard, as well as starting his own cryptocurrency project, ‘pettycoin’ in 2014.

We will be hosting this event with Adelaide Blockchain, who will also chat to us about some of the opportunities they are working on.
