Alexandre Jaeg is founder of Robin Zug, a French-German start-up based in Augsburg. In 2015, he founded the company together with his wife Barbara Jaeg and his friend Jean Schmitt and started to digitalize Deutsche Bahn from the outside.

Alexandre moved from France to Germany in 2007 to start his career as an aerospace engineer. After the relocation of his workplace, he had to commute up to 3 hours a day by train and experienced a wide range of issues with Deutsche Bahn. Instead of filling a claim form for each major train delay, he developed with his co-founders an online platform enabling to get compensated with just few clicks. During the test phase in 2017, the user community commuting on a single train line has generated more than 1% of the national volume of claims received by Deutsche Bahn. Meanwhile, the concept has been rolled out in the whole of Germany and up to 50.000 claims have already been compensated successfully.
