Jim Nottingham is currently Vice President and General Manager of the LaserJet and Enterprise Solutions Hardware Portfolio and Quality organization where he is responsible for new product development, delivery, and quality for a $12.5 billion business within Hewlett Packard. Responsible for delivering HP LaserJet Printers and scanning technology products that span consumer to enterprise customer segments, Jim also leads Quality, Customer Experience and Product design for the organization. The LES HW Portfolio and Quality organization’s focus is not only on delivering a continued refresh of the LES product portfolio, but also sustained and significant improvement in overall quality, customer experience and innovation. Jim joined HP’s Boise Printer Division in 1992 after graduating from Utah State University with Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering. Early in Jim’s career at HP he worked as a R&D engineer and architect. In 1997 he left HP to join a successful startup company, In System Design, serving in multiple capacities. Jim returned to HP in 2000 as a R&D Manager, while completing his Masters degree in Technology Management. Prior to his most recent role, Jim has also served as the VP of R&D for LES HW and R&D Director for both low end and high end LaserJet development. Outside of work, Jim enjoys biking, golfing, skiing, and spending time with his family. Jim is married, has three kids and two grandchildren. He is a devoted father and grandfather.
