About this event

In June we're very excited to be able to welcome Tarryn Gorre to Startup Grind Bournemouth for a fireside chat about technology in the food industry and what Tarryn and her team at Kafoodle see as the future of food and the part that technology plays in that future. Bringing a love of food, the nimble use of data and an unstoppable desire for transparency, Kafoodle has set out to liberate the way we both create and consume meals. The simple, innovative software that Tarryn and her team have developed, gives kitchens and consumers alike complete transparency and insight into the food they love. The idea started by giving chefs simple to use, cloud-based software that automatically highlights allergens and calculates the nutritional value and cost of their menu items as they create them but as with many startups, there are many more facets to the platform now which Tarryn will talk us through.

In this interactive chat, Tarryn will be talking about:

The use of technology in the food industry

The importance of data in developing your product

Working with social and healthcare organisations

The future of the food industry
