About this event

Glenna is a majority owner and cofounder of Cytocybernetics is a 43North winner in 2015. We'll be talking to her about her organization, 43North, biomedical entrepreneurship, and her advice for all of those in general entrepreneurship and the lifesciences.

Cytocybernetics is a contract research organization using her novel Cybercyte technology, which brings a new efficiency to FDA-mandated drug safety screening. The Cybercyte technology is a significant advance in the drug development pathway, with the promise to reduce the likelihood of novel drugs having serious cardiac side effects, while reducing the cost of bringing new drugs to market. Development and commercialization of the Cybercyte has been supported in part by NIH technology transfer awards, a SUNY TAF Award, UBCAT awards, and by 43North. In addition, Glenna was given the Women in Tech award from Info Tech, and the Visionary Innovator Award from UB STOR. Glenna was mentored in entrepreneurship by the Canisius Women’s Business Center.
