We'll also explore the current and future opportunities for entrepreneurs to work within and partner with existing industry players.

We've put together a rockstar panel of industry players and experts to explore the unique problems and challenges working in the highly regulated legal medical cannabis industry and the future of legalized recreational use. We'll also explore the current and future opportunities for entrepreneurs to work within and partner with existing industry players.

Medicinal cannabis has had a short but explosive history in Maryland,  New products and services are coming to market at break-neck speed.  2018 saw the Maryland medicinal cannabis industry generate more than $100 million in revenue and the industry is less than two years old.  Getting to this point has not been without significant challenges.  

Our panel moderator will be Elizabeth "Boo" Lunt, founder of Spark Events and "Bud Tender" at Starbuds.

Tashonda Vincent-Lee, co-founder, and CEO of ABV Consulting and ELEVATE Northeast, a leading cannabis advocacy organization on the east coast.

Tracey Lancaster Miller, co-founder, and EVP of Peake ReLeaf, LLC. One of the original dispensaries located in Rockville. 

Steve Sherman, JD  Professional Liability Specialist with PSA Insurance and Financial Services, a leading risk management company with a specialty in medicinal cannabis.
