Stefano Vena is the CTO at Altrama Italia. He is a software engineer and a PhD in Psychology of Programming and Artificial Intelligence. He compiled its first "Hello World" in 1991 and never stops programming. He worked in many projects devoted to promotion and virtual reconstruction of Cultural Heritage Sites. He dreamed an application that can helps him discovering the cultural heritage nearby places he visited and decided to start a brand new project ViaggiArt together with his traveling companion Giuseppe Naccarato in 2014, winning some italian awards. Today is a project manager, a developer, a geek and a details maniac. ViaggiArt is a web platform based on Open Data, which promotes and advertises the cultural heritage . ViaggiArt advises users, based on their location, about places and cultural events starting with those closest to them, and how to reach them.
