About this event

For 30 years Gayle has lead strategic marketing and business development initiatives.   She was instrumental in developing and executing a differentiated growth strategy for YSI, Incorporated which generated above market organic growth and positioned the company as the leader in an emerging segment of the water market.  In recent years she drove the company’s acquisition initiatives and expanded YSI’s international footprint by opening new offices in the Middle East, Latin America, SE Asia and Australia.  In 2011 YSI was purchased by ITT Corporation, now Xylem.  Gayle played a key role in the negotiation process which lead to an exceptional valuation for the shareholders.  As a Vice President with Xylem she developed a strategic growth plan for the Analytics Division which resulted in a reorganization and the establishment of several new growth initiatives. Throughout her career she been active in community groups in the Dayton region and in national organizations related to water resources.  Most recently she has worked on economic development initiatives with a goal of successful commercialization of regional technology and strengthening our entrepreneurial ecosystem. Gayle graduated from Indiana University with a Master of Business Administration.
