We are excited to welcome Keith Daniel to our be our September guest to Startup Grind Dayton! Keith Daniel has almost been fired - twice. He's invested in a company that went bankrupt within 90 days. He’s argued loudly against a brilliant idea that helped turn a startup into a big success. He’s mortgaged everything to become a Wall Street billionaire, only to change his mind a week after landing at Goldman Sachs in New York City. Keith holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Duke University. He grew up on a farm in rural Ohio and has held jobs ranging from sand shoveler to sales management to president. He was fortunate enough to take part in two startup companies that went public on the NASDAQ and reached a combined market cap of ~$2.9 billion dollars. On the backs of those two wins, Keith retired in the year 2000. He’s since taken part in 200+ for profit and non-profit board meetings. And he’s currently launching a website - www.mapofme.com - that aims to help business owners and their teams do life and work better. Keith has been happily married to his wonderful wife Joyce for 28 years and they have four equally wonderful children. While he’s lived in lots of cities - Dallas, Raleigh, Durham, New York City, Chicago, Columbus - he once again calls rural Ohio home.
