Nina Joshi was named as President and CEO of UES, Inc. in May of 2008. In her role as CEO, Dr. Joshi continues to maintain UES’ current core competencies in Materials and Processes, Surface Engineering, and Aerospace Power and Propulsion, while expanding into the emerging fields of Biological and Nanoscale Technologies, Photonics and Electronics, and Additive Manufacturing. She places a special emphasis on the development and commercialization of UES’ high-tech products and services. Under her leadership, UES’s revenue has tripled.

Dr. Joshi received her Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in molecular toxicology and a Masters of Public Health from Tulane University.

In addition to her role as CEO, Dr. Joshi currently serves on the Wright Brothers Institute Board and the Regional STEM Collaborative Board. She is a strong supporter of education and the Beavercreek community including the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce as well as many charities in the area. She is a member of Materials Research Society and the Dayton Development Coalition.

A native of Dayton, Dr. Joshi currently resides in Xenia with her husband and two children.
