Michael Hiles is a long-time entrepreneur whose expertise crosses the boundaries between software development, information architecture and marketing strategy. As a business executive with multiple startup and early stage company experience, he has become an active mentor across Ohio's startup economy. His latest venture is 10XTS, a blockchain development company that launched in early 2017.

He was a founding member and CIO of the board for Lender’s Investment Group where he created the actuarial financial algorithms and information management strategy to help enable the insurance company to obtain funding. Later he founded SoftLynx Interactive, one of the first web development companies in Cincinnati that merged with Reach Publishing, one of the nation’s largest direct mail marketing companies.
Michael is a Smithsonian Award winner, has acted as an information architect, turnaround strategist, digital strategy adviser and consultant, working with small businesses to mid-market clients to create and implement business development strategies.
In 2016, Michael launched the Cincinnati chapter of Founder Institute, the local operation for the Silicon Valley-based global accelerator founded by Adeo Ressi. In two years, the local accelerator has launched 21 companies with pre-money valuations of $1 million each.
Early in 2017, he formalized the team and launched 10XTS, a blockchain development company. Michael frequently speaks at blockchain and digital marketing events and conferences. He also consults with early and growth stage companies to help ownership teams define target markets, package their value proposition, and develop accelerated market development strategies.
