After organizing our first event in July 2017 with Churchill Nanje to launch our chapter, there was the need for us to organize another one. During the first event, there was one question which came up repeatedly, how to find investors and raise capital for their businesses. It seemed to be a challenge for all the entrepreneurs and founders to find the necessary capital which they  could use for product research, product communication and advertising.

As the chapter director, i knew we needed to find a solution to this problem. i set myself immediately to the task of exploring some of the proposed solutions during our event. During my research i kept coming upon the name Ovamba. Ovamba is a company registered in the United States and operating in Cameroon that provides turn key solutions to empower banks/investors to finance previously "un-financeable" micro, small and medium sized businesses. With further research i discovered that their CEO and co-founder was very experienced in SME financing. Who better to speak to our community of entrepreneurs that the experience co-founder and CEO of a company that has as  their core business to find capital for SME's.

After failing to host an event with him last November due to his very busy end of year schedule, i am very happy to announce to our community of entrepreneurs and grinders that we will be hosting Mr Marvin Cole on the 27th of October, to share with us Tips, Tricks, and Hacks on  how to make our startups attractive to banks and investors for investments. I am inviting all our entrepreneurs in and around Douala to come get their questions answered and most importantly be educated, inspired and connect with our always growing group of entrepreneurs.
