Serendipity restaurant which was awarded "World Luxury Restaurant award - South African fine dining" is situated on the banks of the Touws River Lagoon adjacent to the Wilderness National Park in the Garden Route of South Africa. Superb cuisine, friendly and professional service and wonderful wines in a setting that is graceful but relaxed is the credo for Serendipity’s South African inspired gourmet fare. A five course South African inspired table d’hÔte menu, experienced leisurely in a refined atmosphere that increases the pleasure of the dining experience is the benchmark of Serendipity.

The executive chef, Lizelle Stolze is crowned with numerous awards and qualifications. Apart from excellent local and international experience Lizelle is a dux Cum laude student of Prue Leith Academy of Food and Wine where she gained top honours as a student. She has also lectured at Prue Leith Academy of Food and Wine as a professional lecturer. She is a Fellow Member of the South African Chefs Association and a Honoraire Culinaire of the Chaine des Rotisseurs.

Co-owner Rudolf Stolze is the front-of-house showman who provides an edifying introduction to every course and wonderful wine recommendations. Rudolph is keen on hunting the pot and often goes out to catch it himself ensuring only the best hits your plate. Together with his wife Lizelle they have a wealth of business experience which saw the restaurant winning numerous prestigious awards over the years such as the World Luxury Restaurant Awards Global Best South African Cuisine; Best Fine Dining Restaurant in South Africa, World Luxury Restaurant Awards Continent Best South African Cuisine and RASA Rosetta Service Excellence Award to name a few.
