Nikk Mitchell is a Kenyan born Canadian who has lived in China for nearly a decade. Nikk originally built a name for himself in VR through by launching of the first VR community website in China, oculus-china.com, which was eventually purchased by Facebook in 2014, as well as by working on VR content creation for a diverse group of clients from around the globe. He is a guest professor at the Beijing Film Academy and a sought-after speaker at industry events in China and abroad. In 2017 FXG Nikk founded FXG and, as its CEO, is building a tech/art company of the future focusing on high quality VR IP creation and bridging the divide between China and the international community.
We will be taking with Nikk about his journey from Kenya, via Canada, roughing it in China, community building to his current plans on taking the FXG magic worldwide. During the course of the discussion Nikk will provide advice, based on his unique experience, on surviving, succeeding and raise investments in the China tech scene.
