Ahmed Ibrahim Awale is a multi-skilled person with remarkable footprint in many different areas. His skills cover development worker, entrepreneurship, environment, and teaching.

He is a founding member of Candlelight for Environment, Education and Health, a very prominent national non-governmental organization, whereby he currently serves as it chairman. He is also co-founder of Somaliland Biodiversity Foundation (SBF), a biodiversity research organization affiliated with the University of Hargeisa.

He is an author of several books on environment, culture, Sufism and history.

Ahmed will be sharing interesting and inspiring stories on his personal and business experience in founding Asli Mills and its growth journey.
