I have been a social justice community advocate for the past 15 years working with a diverse range of populations to create systems and practices that help minimize gender discrimination, social inequality, marginalization, and other global issues.

In the fireside chat, I want to talk about my trajectory from being a business student to a community advocate and now beginning to explore the many possibilities of merging social justice with applied sciences.

I also want to share the critical elements required to drive social innovation and entrepreneurship in tackling the world's issues. I want to highlight some of my older work in countries like India, Bangladesh, the UK, and my current project in the US, Teadrop: Storytelling for Gender Justice, where I am addressing the most under-defined global issue concerning women who have been the victims or survivors of domestic violence, abuse, and trauma. I will also speak about the evolution of social innovation and entrepreneurship with the integration of data visualization, web technology, and design justice that have become an essential part of my ecosophical praxis.
