Jason Williamson is vice president of the Oracle Global Startup Ecosystem, Oracle’s startup program for entrepreneurs worldwide. In this capacity, he leads the business development initiatives and strategies across the program’s key audiences, including startups, customers, partners and Oracle. Prior to Oracle, Jason was at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he created and led several key initiatives within the investment and startup community. He has a background in both Fortune 500 firms and the startup world. Among his startup efforts, he co-founded the construction industry’s first CRM SaaS offering, an International NGO for Entrepreneurial Development, and is currently launching a company in the pediatric healthcare space. Jason also served as an assistant professor for five years at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and has authored three books. He served his country as a United States Marine and lives in Raleigh with his wife and four children, where he coaches high school girls’ basketball, drinks sweet tea and eats bbq as much as possible.
