Do you have a brilliant idea for a podcast? Apply for the Startup Grind Jacksonville Virtual Podcast Pitch Battle They are looking for the most creative, interesting and original podcast idea, which can be a success around the world.
A podcast is an audio show, but you can download it and listen whenever you like. Podcasts are free from the restraints of traditional radio programs: they can be any length, and they often have quite a personal, intimate tone, as many people like to listen to them on their own with headphones. They can be about anything, and any format – from discussion and debates, informal chats to investigative journalism and documentaries
Each individual or team will be required to present their pitch podcast live in front of the judges in the order that will be pre- decided by Startup grind. The teams will only be given presenter access when it is their turn to present their pitch.

Presenting your Live Pitch Podcast
The live pitch podcast should not be more than 2.5- 3 minutes and exceeding the time limit carries a penalty of 5 points for every 10 seconds.
The judges will provide feedback on each team’s pitch podcast for 3-5 minutes per team and every team would also get an opportunity to learn from the feedback that will be provided to the other teams.
Each live pitch podcast should contain:
Clear Explanation of product/ Service
Problem being solved
Proposed solution
Go to market strategy
Current status of their product/ service and a detailed plan of action for the next six months
Social aspect
How you will be scored
The judging of each team’s pitch podcast would be based on their live podcast pitch presentation but a well drafted welcome podcast episode would help in providing better clarity to the judges during the presentation
