About this event

Ized Uanikhehi is co-founder TORA Africa, an impact-driven human resources technology startup that recruits, trains, verifies and deploys workers in the informal sector, with a mission to deploy 100,000 workers in the next year and impact on millions of lives.

She is also the convener of the largest community of digital marketing professionals in Africa - DigiClan and she is driven by her life's goal to bridge the digital (gender) divide in Africa with this community and collaboration.

A graduate of Biochemistry, with 15 years post-college experience in Marketing, who has spent the last 6 years changing the digital marketing landscape of Africa through her works and adopting digital technology for advocacy and helping startups promote their businesses.

She has worked for and with Multi-billion naira International and local brands, successfully developing and working on a number of creative digital contents and offline marketing strategies to propel their brands forward.

She was Director of Marketing and growth at MAX Okada, a 2 wheel ride-hailing mobility company.

Before joining MAX she was the social producer at CNN Africa.
