Hajiya Fatima Maitama Lawal was born in the ancient city of Kano, and attended Gidan Makama Primary School kano, from there she fly to st. George British International School Rome, Italy after that she moved to Government Girls College Dala Kano. She got NCE certificate at College of Education Kano, Her degree and Masters all in Bayero University Kano. In 1999 she worked under State Universal Basic Education Board ( SUBEB) she tought in salanta primary School and then became assistant heard of teachers in salanta primary School and head teacher in Ra'ayatul Umma. She is the founder of the school Sharada Academy Kano In 2005 started with 10pupils and four teachers including herself and now the Scholl start rolling the junior secondary session from 2014/2015 sesion and the scholl has 208 pupils with 15teachers she is excluded.
