Jito also serves as an active Independent Director on the board of the leading telecom company in Zambia, Airtel Networks Zambia Plc and is Chairman of the Audit Committee.

As an ardent promoter of innovative financing for Africa’s transformation, Jito is often called upon by the United Nations Economic Commission (UNECA) to participate in the formulation of Investment and Finance policy and to speak at high-level global fora such as the African Development Forum alongside African Heads of State and Ministers of Finance.

Jito has also been recognized for his work in energy policy and the promotion of streamlined investment in energy ventures in Zambia driven by Independent Power Producers.

Jito is a certified Investment Advisor by the Securities and Exchange Commission and holds a degree in Political Science with specialization in Public Policy and Corporate Governance from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
