Steve Kiene is an entrepreneur based in Lincoln, NE, who launched his first software company in high school. Since that time, he has built and sold a handful of companies. Kiene co-founded one of the only investment funds targeting software companies in Nebraska. Today he's building Ocuvera, a medtech startup using AI to prevent hospital patient falls. Ocuvera was highlighted at Mobile World Congress last year by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Vice President Julie White.

For the first two decades of his career, Kiene had a singular focus on business. This last decade has become an exercise in finding balance as a new husband, father, and startup CEO. Along the way, Kiene has made tons of mistakes and experienced numerous failures - many of which provided growth opportunities. Steve will share deeply emotional stories from his darkest days and exciting moments from his biggest wins.
