Benjamin Chimbalanga Katubiya is the founder and CEO of Buk Holdings Ltd, a company involved in retailing heavy duty truck spares, quarry mining, transport and logistics across Zambia. For the last 18 years, Benjamin has been at the helm of BUK Holdings growing it from an initial capital of $300 to a $30M enterprise. His company was named as the Best SME of the year 2009 and also emerged among the Top 15 companies in the Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship in 2010. He is an entrepreneur coach and leadership mentor appointed by The US Embassy in Zambia as a leadership and business mentor for the Mandela-Washington Fellows in 2014. He was accorded “Marketing Personality of the Year in Zambia” award from the Zambia Institute of Marketing. He is a board member of Live Connection Australia-Zambia and previously served as Chairman of American Chamber of Commerce in Zambia. Benjamin is a holder of National Diploma in Marketing from Copperbelt University and currently studying for MSc in Marketing in Salford University.
