Benedikt von Thuengen, is the founder of 4 companies, scaled up two rapidly with 25 and 55 employees respectively. Areas included AI, Enterprise Software, Renewable Energy and MedTech.

Benedikt started his first company at the age of 20 during university which he grew to a workforce of 25 people and raised over £6m which later went bankrupt in 2010. BioG Biogastechnik was spun out and still runs today with a workforce of more than 60 employees

He later co-founded Speechmatics, which grew to 55 employees, 7 digit Annual Recurring Revenue and has won more than 70 commercial contracts including Deloitte, Sony, Ericsson, BBC and many others.

Benedikt, has degrees from Edinburgh University and Cambridge University in Biological Sciences and is currently travelling through Africa to discover and support innovations and start-ups
