in April 2014, Fatuma launched Warya Post, an online digital publication that provides a platform for progressive and diverse Somali voices, marginalised groups, artists, thinkers and creative people with original ideas – both in Somalia and Diaspora. Within the first three months of launching, Warya Post had 190,000 unique visitors! Demonstrating the hunger Somalis, especially youth, have for original content and a space where people’s thoughts are not morally policed.
