About this event

Kyle Doerksen is the founder and CEO of Future Motion Inc, a Santa Cruz based company that develops personal digital vehicles. Their first product, Onewheel is a revolutionary electric boardsport that achieves stability on a single wheelusing advanced sensors and algorithms. Doerksen developed this concept from rough prototypes built in his garage through Kickstarter crowdfunding to successful business. Prior to founding Future Motion, Doerksen was an engineer and project leader at IDEO, a world-leading design firm. He also helped launch Faraday Bicycles, a boutique electric bicycle maker based in San Francisco. His education is in Mechanical Engineering and Neuroengineering from Stanford.
