- About Us
As entrepreneurs, we get by thanks to our fierce independence. Unfortunately, our independence only goes as far as the political climate will allow. Some of us were in high school during 2007-2008 elections and are now founders, if you were building businesses then, how was it? How has the environment improved or deteriorated since then? What did this look like for your bottom line, your team’s motivation, your own morale?
What have you learned about keeping your business alive through it all? Is it possible to ignore politics altogether as a business owner? Have you considered moving your business to another part of the world? How possible is this? What should foreigners owning businesses here prepare for?
If you are having the same questions as us and if you have some answers, this meetup is just for you. In attendance will be long standing founders, foreign founders, political activists, bloggers and startup founders
Our typical monthly events consist of a fireside chat with a local founder, investor, CEO, thought leader. This month, we are hosting a more intimate gathering in the form of a potluck dinner. You heard right, free entry, bring your favourite food, snacks and drinks and let’s really talk.
