Steve Shwartz is a serial entrepreneur with a successful track record as a founder and angel investor. He has been a part of 2 IPOs and several others successful exits. Today, he is CTO and co-founder of Device42, a provider of IT infrastructure management tools. Device42 has grown from a small team working out of The Grove coworking office, to a major player with customers in over 50 countries.

Steve Shwartz is a serial entrepreneur with a successful track record as a founder and angel investor. He has been a part of 2 IPOs and several others successful exits. Today, he is CTO and co-founder of Device42, a provider of IT infrastructure management tools.

Device42 has grown from a small team working out of The Grove coworking office, to a major player with customers in over 50 countries including Sprint, Homeaway, Atlassian, StackOverflow.

Steve pursued a postdoc at Yale in Artificial Intelligence, before co-founding two companies in the space. One of those, Cognitive Systems IPO'd in 1986.

Later, he served as CTO of Computershare. He also became an early angel investor and board member at Tangoe, before taking over the role of CTO prior to the company’s 2011 IPO.
