Sojern grew from Omaha, Nebraska to be a global company valued at $350 million by 2018. The company originally launched with a boarding pass advertisement product and data partnership, later pivoting to connecting with travelers as they search and book their trips online. Today Sojern's global coverage includes offices in Omaha, San Francisco, New York, Paris, London, Dubai, and Singapore. Gordon Whitten, Sojern's founder who started the company from a literal napkin idea, now runs I See It Venture alongside some of his original Sojern team.
