Velodash is a Taiwan based startup which develops a tourism/cycling platform bridging people and local communities.
His abundant overseas experience, contribution to local communities as a volunteer and many achievements in IT/Tourism industry shaped his belief and drove him to the current position.
As a business leader, he believes in Osaka's potential for startups by virtue of its strong economy, large population, profound culture, and supportive government.
Brian is the Head of Startup Programs at Rainmaking - one of the world's leading corporate innovation and venture-building firms with 112 offices around the world including Singapore, London, Seoul and Dubai.
Rainmaking has launched over 50 ventures worth $1B in value, including one of the world's most active accelerators, Startupbootcamp.
Since 2006, they have invested in nearly 1,000 startups which went on to raise almost $1B. Rainmaking has partnered with companies such as IKEA, Barclays, Engie, and Hankyu Hanshin Group to co-create new solutions with startups.
Throughout his time at Rainmaking, Brian has worked with corporates in areas such as electric mobility, aviation, telecommunications and construction.

Since its foundation in 2018, Seitaikai conducts events every month with startups, major companies, Osaka Chamber of Commercie and Industyr, local government and so on. It has experience holding seminars for foreigners who are interested in starting a business in Japan.
