Every year in the Month of May, Startup Grind celebrates Female Entrepreneurs Month, dedicated entirely to the empowerment of leading innovative women. Last year the global community held approximately 100 events in this theme worldwide, which is why this month we are hosting the amazing line up of women in technology, entrepreneurship and leadership.

This year Startup Grind Oslo and European Women Payments Network will host a fireside chat and a panel with inspiring women leaders in tech and entrepreneurship

Rebecca Razulis is Chief of Customer Operations at Gelato, one of the fastest growing and successful tech startup in Norway. She is responsible for a seamless customer experience of all Gelato Globe services.

Previously, she worked in Customer Service for Amazon, where she was responsible for customer experience, delivery experience, executive customer relations, and social media customer service in the UK.

Prior to Amazon, Rebecca worked as a Strategy & Operations consultant at Deloitte, supporting public sector clients in Washington, DC.

Rebecca holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Latin American Studies and East Asian Studies from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Ingibjörg Meyer-Myklestad is the Head of Corporate Affairs at Argentum, an asset manager investing in private equity funds in Northern Europe. Ingibjörg has broad experience from investment management and communications with background as an analyst at DNB in Oslo and New York and consultant at Burson-Marsteller. She is also a former journalist. She holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Business from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

Liv Freihow is Director of Business Policy at ICT Norway. She is working on framework conditions for the IT industry which aims to contribute to accelerated growth and competitiveness for tech companies. Her focuses on raising IT as a priority area of business policy, and on preventing the public sector from competing with tech industry on developing IT solutions and removing barriers to digital value creation.

In addition, Liv has a dedicated venture for companies working on technology for the banking / finance industry (FinTech).

Liv holds an MA from the London School of Economics and a MSc from the University of Southern California.

Kristine Hofer Næss is the Chairman and one of the founders of ODA, the leading network for Women in tech in the Nordics. ODA are working towards their goal of 40% women in tech, including in top management through a variety of Initiatives, including networking meetings, mentor programs, awards etc.

Kristine has worked in tech since getting her Master of IT management from Universität St. Gallen in 2003, in various sales and leadership roles in Microsoft. Her last role being Director for Customer Experience.

She advocates that the organizations who really embrace customer experience and diversity, are the ones who will be successful in the future.

Maria Akkuratnova is Head of Customer Success at Auka, a fast-growing tech startup awarded Europe’s best mobile payments platform. She is responsible for client relations, customer experiences, and delivery and implementation of all Auka’s products and services.

Before joining Auka in 2015 Maria worked as Customer Relations Director at Nasdaq, with responsibilities within global derivatives markets for shipping and commodities.

Alongside her current role at Auka, Maria is a co-founder of Mattekrets, a technology academy for children with focus on future skills, robotics and electronics.

Maria is also a part of European Women in Fintech and Payments Network as Country Ambassador to Norway. She is passionate about the future of education, technology, entrepreneurship and diversity.

Maria holds Bachelor in Finance and MSc in Financial Economics from BI Norwegian Business School.
