With PSD2 as a sweet Christmas gift for fintech startups this year, it is time for catch up with the Fintech developments of the year. We’ll be hosting Ingar S. Bendsen, the CEO of theFactory, a Oslo-based fintech accelerator starting their Spring'18 program on March 1st 2018.

Ingar S. Bentsen is CEO, founder and main shareholder of Qapital AS and TheFactory AS. He has been involved in the start-up and development of a number of companies since 2002, such as Mobilshop, Mobizz, Trigcom, Room Service and Payments (now JCP Digital). Ingar is very keen on innovation and is committed to helping Norway get a good, healthy and well-functioning financial instrument that facilitates increased interest in entrepreneurship across all industries. He has been in a number of boards in established and newly established companies, and has invested in various start-up companies over the past 15 years. Ingar is responsible for raising capital to the investment companies, and leads the companies as CEO and Chairman.

Ingar is chairman of the Oslo Fintech Hub, an initiative aimed at promoting the interests of fintech entrepreneurs and establishing the Oslo and Akershus area as a key player in the Norwegian, Nordic and European fintech landscape.
