Xavier Duportet, 28, is the French Innovator of the Year 2015 by MIT Technology Review, a Laureate of the Worldwide Innovation Challenge, and listed among the 100 persons changing the world by «Challenges». During his PhD in Synthetic Biology at MIT and INRIA, he cofounded Eligo Bioscience, a startup which develops the next generation of ultraprecise antimicrobials. He is also the President of Hello Tomorrow, an NGO operating in 45 countries to accelerate the development of science startups.
