Celebrating 11 years, Harrison has received multiple accolades such as a recipient of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and has been featured in “Forbes,” and “Deloitte”. Harrison Tang and his co-founders created Spokeo in 2006 while at Stanford University. As CEO, he is responsible for the overall direction and product strategy of the people intelligence platform. He leads the team focused on building an easy-to- use interface that empowers users with the data to help them know more about others by accessing and aggregating more than 12 billion records. The company originally launched as a social network aggregator and pivoted two years later to offer white pages data records. The search tool gained immense popularity in 2010, and since then Spokeo has continued to provide new offerings in the realm of people - related data, including social search, historical records, criminal records, celebrity photo-data bases and more. Harrison immigrated from Taiwan to the Silicon Valley when he was 13 years old, now resides and works in Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley with his wife and two young sons. He attended Stanford University and received his Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Electrical Engineering and his Master’s in Electrical Engineering in 2005.
