Join us on September 28th, 5:30 to 7 pm, at the Thomas Center for our next Startup Grind program featuring Dick Taylor. Dick will discuss his long and distinguished career in business, sports, and philanthropy.

Dick Taylor has been the owner of Taylor Insurance Agency in Lumberton, NC, for over half a century. At 89, he is still at the office every morning before 8 a.m. and often returns at night after eating dinner with his beautiful wife Lenore. But there is much more to the man than just a business owner.

Dick is also a loyal supporter of a number of causes including Lumberton Rotarians and his alma mater UNC Chapel Hill. Dick is a 1950 graduate from UNC, an All-American in track and has recently been inducted into the Penn Relays Hall of Fame. Dick’s athletic prowess did not stop when he graduated from college. He is still very active in the NC Senior Games, winning numerous gold medals.
