Květa Vostrá – Software entrepreneur, co-founder and ex Chief Operating Officer at Ytica (acquired by Twilio), with more than 10 years of experience in the contact center space. Kveta graduated from the Harvard Business School, and has a passion for technology and customer care.
Jarmila's first startup attempt was an ecological carwash service in Norway. This adventure didn't last long, but provided Jarmila with immense amount of experience and introduced her to the world of entrepreneurship. After returning home, Jarmila joined a company that builds startups for corporations. Here she broadened her skills and network and, most importantly, met Karel, her co-founder in Grason.
Lucie is an expert on tech startups and scaling. She managed the exponential growth of the travel tech disruptor Kiwi.com, taking the company from 10 to 2000 people globally and setting the financial systems to sustain growth from 0 to 1bn€ in turnover in 4 years.
She works with leaders and their teams to help them achieve ambitious goals through a combination of focus on both the future vision and people, while supporting productivity and efficiency.
Her passion lies in education, as it can help prepare future generations to live well alongside with the ever so present technology and tackle the challenges our society is facing.
Meng is a marketer with an adventurous heart and a curious head. She has over 8 years of marketing, has gone through small businesses and her own business all the way to Heineken, where she was in charge of strategic brand management and to Google, where she runs the Google Partners B2B program in the Czech Republic, formerly Grow with Google for EMEA. In addition to marketing, she enjoys learning herself and likes to be surrounded by clever and inspiring people, so she has been organizing Tedx for several years, is a Google Certified Trainer for Design Thinking and alumna for the Aspen Young Leaders Program.
Passionate entrepreneur with innovative thinking, technical background and 5-year corporate experience. In love with startups, cutting-edge technologies and fan of disruptive ideas. Experienced with building new solutions, setting up business strategies, leading developers and working in international environment. At this time leads startup developing platform for video-personalization Motionlab.io as a co-founder.
Jiri is very passionate about helping organisations to adopt blockchain. Having over 15 years of experience in banking with a focus on core banking and payments, Jiri started three years ago startup with the mission to close the gap between blockchain and the real world.
Behavee mother Markéta is a Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. Skilled in Business Process, Business Planning, Enterprise Software, Business Development, and Partner Management. All her professional life she worked at IT management and she delivered IT solutions into the big companies. Markéta is "the senior" of the team by age and experience in international people and company management in IT sector. Markéta is currently responsible for operations of the company, HR and Finance. She utilizes her professional network to support sales and acquire partners. Her primary role is to build and keep fundamentals of Behavee and allow others to focus on product and services development. She enjoys work with people, communication. Markéta is very caring person, thanks to her our extended team holds together. Marketa is Certified Microsoft professional (enterprise licensing). In her free time, she devotes herself to an organization that helps children from children's homes to stand on their own feet. She is mother of 4 kids.
Artur (Founder and CEO of Somnium Space) worked for many years as an investment trader and then became an evangelist of virtual reality and architect of virtual worlds. He firmly believes that the virtual worlds will take the company to the next level of development in the future. At Somnium Space, he strives to combine all the aspects needed to make this vision a reality.
I currently live in London, UK where I moved to from Dublin, Ireland. Before that I spent some time in Geneva, Switzerland and most of my life in Romania - where I was born. Outside of work I am a foodie, with a preference for everything Italian.
I am a Cloud Developer Advocate at Microsoft, after studying Computer Science and completing a research project in Natural Language Processing/Machine Learning and an internship at Microsoft’s search engine, Bing.
I am passionate about Data Science and Machine Learning and my previous roles have allowed me to work in many different areas of data science (Visualisation, ML, Big Data and IoT) as well as working on projects with customers across the globe.
In my role as a Cloud Developer Advocate, I help developers to engage with Microsoft technology, especially the AI services on Azure, by providing content, learnings, and sample code. You can find me online using the links above or at in-person events.
Ruthy joined Microsoft 6 years ago. She’s the Chief Startups Lead and Software Partners Tech Lead in Central & Eastern Europe. Prior to that she was the Chief Startups and Developer Relations Lead at Microsoft Israel.
Ruthy Kaidar is an executive with over 20 years of experience in the medical devices, telecommunications, software and venture capital industries. As a computer science engineer, she worked in software and firmware engineering in the telecomm industry at Geotek and Qualcomm. She then turned to Brain Research, pursuing a Master’s degree focusing on Brain Computer Interface - using brain signals to operate robots. Ruthy held key positions in R&D, project and product management, as well as business development, in medical device companies, among them Medingo, which she joined with founding until acquisition by Roche. She led several Internet and mobile health initiatives, was a strategic and business consultant to medical and services companies, and was an Entrepreneur In Residence at Carmel Ventures, focusing on digital health opportunities. Ruthy is a business and tech mentor to entrepreneurs and a co-manager of "Yazamiyot" - promoting women tech entrepreneurship.
Ruthy holds a BSc in Computer Science, MSc in Brain Research, and MBA, all cum laude, from the Technion.
Ruthy is married and mother to three children, is a sports, running, and yoga enthusiast and loves traveling the world.
