About this event

The event will host PLANITworld's co-founder and COO : Weiyi Qiu

PLANITworld is an emerging startup dedicated to solving the urban household waste problem. Having won the second prize at Global Solutions Festival at Schwarzman College, it is now registered in xlab, Tsinghua University incubator.

Women & Buisiness

It is not a coincidence that these two data points have an upward trend together, nor is it a coincidence that this is happening now. The growth in the number of entrepreneur women coincides with a period of time during which women, in large numbers, realized that they have the skills, interests, networks and capital needed to create their own business.

Women & Innovation

While technology products are not their ultimate goal, women entrepreneurs generally show enthusiasm and ease about using technology to adapt and achieve their other business goals.

A considerable percent of women-led businesses, rank in the service industry where innovation goes from designing new products and services, to the employee's mobilization.

Weiyi understands the major actors that have been incredibly harmful for the environment. During the past decade, and that humanity is facing a very dangerous phenomena which is Global Warming.

Which is why with PLANITworld she is tackling the recycle system problems by empowering the existing workers within the industry, such as cleaning workers and garbage scavengers.
