Mark your calendars: #November is Entrepreneurship Month at Startup Grind, a time to celebrate those who have the courage to take smart risks in business, enriching and innovating our lives with the results of their efforts. 

In Rijeka, the 1st event in town to be held on Saturday, November 9th, will host a local entrepreneur went global: Andrija Čolak, Founder and CEO of Surf'n'Fries. 

Andrija started to build his path in the business sector in his early 20s. After selling his first company 5 years later, he founded Surf'n'Fries, the most successful Croatian franchise brand operative in over 20 countries and 5 continents. He also founded KISHA, the smart umbrella, and PortHop-Berth Booking system. The latest venture is Čolak's Franchise Consulting Group that helps brands expand by franchising their business.
