The company recently participated in the Techstars Accelerator and was founded by Anna Merzi. Anna formerly founded Work Algo, a freelance platform for refugee talent, and received her BA in Middle East Studies and Politics at USC.

There are few things that have captivated our collective attention more than the mobile phone. For the past 20 years, Tatiana has been nearly obsessed with creating, marketing and investing in solutions that leverage the priceless mobile device and have a positive impact on health, wealth or the earth.
As a mobile payments pioneer, she managed the initial product development of the tokenization infrastructure at MasterCard that keeps your Apple Pay, Google Wallet and Samsung Pay transactions safe. She had the unique opportunity to be one of a handful of people “in the room” on the Corporate Strategy Team as MasterCard prepared for the massive transition from a membership organization to a for-profit company leading to a record-breaking IPO. Her contributions as an internal entrepreneur as a founding member of MasterCard Worldwide’s Information Products and Services team continue to yield the company over $45+ million annually.
During her days at The Marketing Arm, an Omnicom agency, Tatiana was known for developing cutting-edge brand and entertainment marketing campaigns for an impressive roster of companies including AT&T, JC Penney, GameStop, Chili’s, Nintendo, Nokia, RIM, LG, State Farm, Huggies, Doritos, San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, and San Antonio Spurs.
She enjoys working with early-stage technology startups to craft and implement business strategies, growth marketing plans and develop compelling software products for web and mobile.
Her latest book, Decide Like a Boss, describes the Steamwork System for making and implementing powerful decisions as a business owner or team leader. She uses this powerful technique when working with founders and founding teams.
When she is not busy discovering founders with the latest breakthrough technologies, she can be found gardening, cooking, pour painting, hanging out with family or on the sidelines of a sporting event. She misses world travel and in person meetings.
Tatiana graduated from New York University, with Bachelor of Arts degree, double majoring in Economics and Near Eastern Languages and Literatures. She bootstrapped her way through college and student loans by starting her career in healthcare and then investment banking as a research analyst. Now she enjoys the academic life in other ways, teaching UI/UX design at the University of Southern California, lecturing at CalArts and supporting entrepreneurship classes and programs at UCLA and CalState Northridge. She is attending UCLA Anderson School of Business in the Executive MBA program.
