Matthew is a Managing Director for Asia-Pacific, where he is heading up marketing and helping to expand the WeWork community throughout China, Korea, Hong Kong, and Australia. He also co-founded WeWork Labs, WeWork’s incubator for early-stage startups. Before that, he focused on WeWork’s service platform as VP of Business Development.

Matthew is a Managing Director for Asia-Pacific, where he is heading up marketing and helping to expand the WeWork community throughout China, Korea, Hong Kong, and Australia. He also co-founded WeWork Labs, WeWork’s incubator for early-stage startups. Before that, he focused on WeWork’s service platform as VP of Business Development.
Prior to WeWork, Matthew co-founded the digital agency Simande as well as the small business focused startup, Onepager. He also co-founded We Are NY Tech where he interviewed over 300 New York City entrepreneurs. Before entering the startup world, he spent time as a Senior Web Developer at Mercedes-Benz USA and ran for Township Council in Palmyra, NJ in 2007.
Matthew currently serves as an advisor to the Halcyon Incubator, a social entrepreneurship accelerator based in Washington DC, and the non-profit KSE (Korean Startups & Entrepreneurs) organized to catalyze Korean and Korean-American entrepreneurship through community and resources. He is an active angel investor in early stage startups (3Claps, Jackpocket, Rukkus, and more), and has been an advisor to a number of successful startups (ToutApp, Handshake, Consumr (acquired)).
