About the Speaker

Egor is a Principal at Fort Ross Ventures. He has 10+ years of wide-ranging international experience in venture capital, private equity, and investment banking both in Moscow and London.

Egor has a vast PE/VC track record, from mature TMT companies to early-stage startups in the US, Europe, Middle East, and Russia. At different stages of his career he has been in charge of execution, lead gen, portfolio management and investment process design across all geographies and industries.

Apart from his family and career, Egor devotes much time to sailing. He considers it a pure venture sport that helps to cleanse the mind, soothe the soul, and raise the fighting spirit.

Egor has a BSc and MSc from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technologies as well as an MSc from New Economic School. These are two leading Russian universities in math, physics, and economics. In addition, Egor has also studied at UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business; he holds the prestigious, international CFA designation.
