Join us on April 2nd for Startup Grind University of Strathclyde's next event with Rebecca Pick! Rebecca is the founder and CEO of Pick Protection, a high-growth start-up she launched while in her third year of a Business degree at the University of Strathclyde. The idea for Pick Protection initially started as a wearable attack alarm that would link to the Police, after Rebecca's neighbour was attacked unexpectedly. Over the last 5 years the idea evolved and now Pick Protection has raised over £1 million to develop the solution to the employee protection problem many firms face. Rebecca has been named as one of the 5 most influential women in tech in Scotland right now by the Scotsman and was featured in the YWCA 30 under 30 list. Come along on the 2nd to hear how Rebecca turned a university idea into one of the most exciting start-ups coming out of Scotland at the moment!
