Amanda is what we consider a “lifer” in the hospitality industry. Well before she took the leap to start her own business, she explored an 18-year career in just about every segment of restaurants, bars, hotels, and event planning imaginable- but she never thought she would stay in Tallahassee. Throughout her career she's had the opportunity to work alongside some really great mentors who allowed her to connect with our community in a much larger way. It really made Amanda fall in love with Tallahassee and motivated her to be part of shaping its future.
When Amanda met my now-partners at Madison Social, she knew she had found a company that would encourage that work but never in her wildest dreams did she think it would also allow her to build a future of her own as a business owner. In her role now she gets to do her two favorite things- talk and eat -so it feels like she should be paying someone else to get to be there every day. Amanda's favorite food are hot dogs and there’s nothing that fills her heart more than getting to cook a good meal for her friends and family.
