Founder of denim brand Tshepo the Jean Maker, has been working on turning his enterprise into a powerful African Fashion Brand. The brand Tshepo the Jean Maker was conceived by his need to create timeless good quality locally produced jeans for both males and females.

TShepo Mohlala the Prince of Denim. A creator of things, a visionary, a dreamer, self driven and motivated young man. Founder of denim brand Tshepo the Jean Maker, has been working on turning his enterprise into a powerful African Fashion Brand.

The brand Tshepo the Jean Maker was conceived by his need to create timeless good quality locally produced jeans for both males and females.  He describes his range as clean.  simple, sophisticated, practical and functional.  

While he a fashion design student,  he started a brand called Solomon's colonnade and worked at the South African Fashion week  for fashion brand House of Ole on their 10th year celebration  in the fashion industry.  Has worked as a personal stylist and blogger and participated in Business Fashion Accelerator program  called Threads driven by  marketing agency ManZero and Standard Bank.  The program targeted entrepreneurs who need support in professionalizing their enterprise and making  them profitable.  

Tshepo the Jean Maker aims at owning the denim industry. A multi Billion dollar industry. A black man from Africa in a Saturated industry – that’s revolutionary.

South Africa is in an economic crisis, the only way we can stabilise this situation is through entrepreneurship, creating and consuming our own products. Investing in our own industries will directly increase job opportunities. This is what South African and the African continent needs. Creating and Owning industries is the 21st century Revolution. - Tshepo
